Step-by-step guide to add ProofyBubble to your Beehiiv site

Beehiiv has both websites (where you can add ProofyBubble to display notifications) as well as integrations (so you can show social proof from sources like your newsletter subscriptions).

Follow these steps to integrate ProofyBubble into your Beehiiv site.

  1. In your Beehiiv dashboard, go to Settings for your publication.
  2. Navigate to the Custom Code or Integrations section (location may vary by Beehiiv plan).
  3. In the Header Code or Custom Code field, paste your ProofyBubble script:

  • Replace <your-id> with your actual Website ID from ProofyBubble.
  • Replace <your-app-id> with your actual App ID from ProofyBubble.
  1. Save your changes and publish your Beehiiv site.

After publishing:

  • Visit your live Beehiiv site.
  • Check your ProofyBubble dashboard for incoming data.
  • Note: Custom code changes in Beehiiv may only appear on the published site, not in preview mode.

Follow these steps to connect your Beehiiv account to ProofyBubble:

  1. Sign in to your Beehiiv Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the following API page: https://app.beehiiv.com/settings/workspace/api
  3. Click the Create API Key button.
  4. Name your key (e.g., "ProofyBubble Integration") and set the required permissions.
  5. Copy the generated API key immediately (you may not be able to see it again).
  6. In your ProofyBubble dashboard, go to Add Integration and select Beehiiv.
  7. Paste your API key into the field provided and save the integration.

  3. Save the integration.
