How to integrate Stripe with ProofyBubble

Follow these steps to add Stripe integration to ProofyBubble.

Begin by providing the URL of your website where you want to display the ProofyBubble notifications. This helps us configure the right settings for your specific site.

What happens in this step:

  • ProofyBubble validates your website URL
  • Your account is connected to your website domain
  • Basic configuration settings are prepared

  1. Sign in to your Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the following API page:
    https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys
  3. Click the Create restricted key button in the top-right corner.
  4. Name your key (e.g., "ProofyBubble Integration").
  5. In the URL field, enter: https://proofybubble.com
  6. Review your settings and click Create restricted key.
  7. Copy the generated Restricted key immediately (you won't be able to see it again).

  1. In your ProofyBubble dashboard, select Add Integration and choose Stripe.
  2. Paste your Secret API Key (starts with rk_) into the corresponding field.
  3. Save the integration.

  1. Select the products you want to show social proof for. Make sure to select the right products you'd like to show social proof for. We have noticed that some customers have selected the wrong products and are not getting the social proof they expected.

If you have no recorded sales in the past 30 days, you won't see any bubble notifications on your website.
