Step-by-step guide to add ProofyBubble to your Instapage site

Follow these steps to integrate ProofyBubble into your Instapage site.

Instapage's API is currently in beta and requires you to request access:

  1. Open the Instapage dashboard and click the “Help” chat in the bottom-right corner.

  2. Send this message:

    I'd like to request access to the public API for our account. I understand it's currently in beta, but we’re eager to start using it for integrations.

  3. Once support enables the feature, go to your Instapage account and create a new API token. Copy this token for the next step.

  1. Go to your ProofyBubble dashboard.
  2. Select your website, then click Add Integration and choose Instapage.
  3. Paste your Instapage API token and Workspace ID when prompted (instructions for finding these are provided in the dashboard).
  4. Save the integration.

To display ProofyBubble notifications, you need to add the ProofyBubble script to every Instapage page where you want bubbles to appear.

Recommended: Add the script to the header of each page.

  • Replace <your-id> with your actual Website ID from ProofyBubble.
  • Replace <your-app-id> with your actual App ID from ProofyBubble.

Note: If you experience issues when adding the script to the header (such as the page breaking), try adding it to the footer or a custom HTML block instead. The script must be present on every page where you want ProofyBubble to appear.

  • Visit your live Instapage site.
  • Check your ProofyBubble dashboard for incoming data. It may take a few minutes for the first notifications to appear.
  • As long as the forms you selected in the integration are getting signups, you should start seeing bubbles show up automatically.

  • If the script causes issues in the header, try placing it in the footer or a floating HTML element.
  • Make sure the script is installed on every Instapage page where you want ProofyBubble to display.
  • If you have many pages, you’ll need to repeat the script installation for each one.
  • If you’re using Zapier to connect Instapage signups to other tools (like Drip or Zoom), ProofyBubble will still work as long as the integration is set up in your dashboard and the script is present on the page.
  • If you don’t see notifications, double-check your API token, Workspace ID, and script placement.
